London part 2! This is a long one...

So I'm a little behind with the blogging....sorry....

On our 2nd full day in London we went on a Harry Potter movie tour. It was SO fun! We drove around to all of the different parts of the city where the movie was filmed. Our guide was hilarious and she was probably the biggest Harry Potter nerd I've ever met. She had a wand and everything and used it as a pointer. While we rode around she pointed things out to us and we also got to watch the clips of the movie that showed the locations we were in. Here are some pics from our tour....

The Millennium Bridge (aka the Wiggley Wobbley Bridge) was in the 6th movie and its the bridge that the Dimentors made fall....

This is the bridge. You can also see the building in the middle (which is a church) on the movie too.

(notice the scarf, thats how wonderful the weather is :) )

"Just that pose.....yeah."-Jonathan

This is the location for Gringott's Bank:

There were two different locations used for the Leaky Cauldron....

and....

Our guide took that and she let me hold her wand!!!!!

Number 12 Grimmald Place, where Serious Black lives....

The Ministry of Magic

The building in the movie that was used for King's Crossing was actually a really amazing old trainstation that looks kinda like the Parliament building across the street from the actual King's Crossing (unfortunately we didn't get a picture of it). They did use the inside part of King's Crossing station though for Platform 9 3/4.....

The "tourist" 9 3/4:

The real 9 3/4, which is actually not between platform 9 and 10...they also had to widen the wall in the movie...

the part where the trash cans are up against is where they "run in"

This is Diagon alley and Harry and Hagrid walked up this street part of the street in the first movie...

This whole part of London is actually used for lots of period films because its looks so old and cool.

And this little cafe has stuff from the movie Alice in Wonderland (the one that came out this year) in it :)

So that was our Harry Potter tour. The rest of the day we just walked around the city and took lots of really great pictures.

King Richard the Lionheart (Robin Hood)

The London Eye

Ok well I'll stop overwhelming you with pictures and information....though I am working on our next one as we speak. Should be the last one of London. Then onto Paris!
